Training Sessions

Come try a group training session with us. Our typical weekly schedule is:

  • Monday
    • Morning Zwift Ride (6:00am)
    • Open water swim (6:30 pm) March - October
  • Tuesday
    • "Dawn Patrol" morning training run (5:30am)
    • Evening training run with Run Uplifted (6:00pm)
  • Wednesday
    • Mountain bike ride (6:30pm)
  • Thursday
    • Morning Zwift Ride (6:00am)
    • Morning track run with Run Uplifted (5:30am)
  • Saturday
    • Group road cycle ride (Time varies)
    • Training run with Run Uplifted (7am)

Non-members must complete a MEMBERSHIP WAIVER prior to joining.

SWIM

Monday evening Open Water Swim (seasonal, April to October)

Meet 6:15 pm @ Cedar Breaks Park, 2100 Cedar Breaks Rd, Georgetown, TX 78633 at the Picnic Area.

Plan to arrive by 6:15, Swim starts at 6.30pm promptly. We have kayak support. MUST wear a brightly colored swim cap and buoy.

MUST have an active GTT membership to cover insurance. If you do not have an active membership, you must use the link below to sign the one-day waiver and pay a $5 fee.

BIKE

Our cycling training sessions are "no-drop" rides, all speeds and levels welcome.

Road Cycling

Saturday mornings. We ride varying distances and are very beginner friendly.

Mountain Biking

We usually ride on Wednesday nights with an occasional extra ride at a local venue. Rides are usually 1-1.5 hours, and we frequently stop to check in with each other.

We ride local trails and there are plenty of them that range from easy to difficult: Lake Georgetown - Good Water Loop, Katy’s Crossing, Walnut Creek, Brushy Creek, etc. 

Zwift Rides

We utilize the indoor training platform for varying interval-style rides. We ride on Monday and Thursday mornings.

RUN

We have lots of options for you to join us on a run.

  • Tuesday
    • "Dawn Patrol" morning training run (5:30am) starts at San Gabriel Park
    • Evening 5K run with Run Uplifted (6:00pm) starts at Tejas Meat Supply
  • Thursday
    • Morning track run with Run Uplifted (5:30am), location varies
  • Saturday
    • Training run with Run Uplifted (7am) at 309 Coffee
